The RISE (Realizing Individual Student Excellence) program is a community-wide collaboration that is here to serve students of color, students experiencing poverty, and/or students who will be first generation college attendees. FMS RISE coordinator Angie Ramirez regularly checks in with about 40 FMS students on topics ranging from attendance, family outreach and mental/chemical health to academic support. RISE reaches out to specific students that may need support, but the program is available to all students. The RISE room is attached to the cafeteria. Students can stop by any time.
