Important Information About FMS Course Registration

Dear Faribault Middle School Families,

As we prepare each year for the course registration process, we want to provide important information to help students and families make informed decisions. During school, teachers will distribute registration forms and guide students through their course options, ensuring they understand requirements, credits, and how to select classes that align with their interests and academic goals. To continue these conversations at home, we encourage families to visit the Faribault Middle School website for additional resources.

Thank you for your partnership in supporting your student’s academic journey!

Credit Recovery Options

Students who do not meet semester credit requirements have the opportunity to enroll in Credit Recovery Courses through the Falcons Beyond After-School Program or Summer STEAM Programming to stay on track.

Understanding Credits

Each course carries a specific credit value:

  • Quarter-long courses = 0.25 credits
